The Role


As Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will play a key role in the daily running of our production workshop, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, to the highest quality, and that customers are supported throughout the repair journey.

You’ll be the main point of contact for customers once their vehicle arrives on site and will work closely with the workshop, parts team, and office team to ensure a smooth repair process.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support the productivity and performance of the workshop to meet repair targets
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the repair process
  • Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates on repair progress
  • Ensure repairs meet the highest quality standards
  • Monitor costs and support control of cost of sale
  • Work closely with production teams to maintain an efficient workflow
  • Handle and resolve customer queries or complaints professionally
  • Create and manage job cards and ensure accurate documentation
  • Ensure parts are ordered and processed correctly
  • Carry out final quality checks before vehicle handover
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and workshop regulations
  • Maintain strong working relationships with insurance partners
