We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer Apprentice to join our team and develop a career in electrical installation, maintenance, and engineering.

About the ApprenticeshipYou will be enrolled on the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship , a nationally recognised qualification covering electrical systems, fault‐finding, testing, inspection, and safe working practices within industrial and construction environments.

About the RoleAs an Electrical Engineer Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified electricians and engineers to install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems used across sites, plant, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting with electrical installation and maintenance works

Supporting fault‐finding and breakdown repairs

Assisting with inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems

Learning to read and follow electrical drawings and schematics

Using tools and testing equipment safely and correctly

Supporting plant, machinery, and site electrical systems

Maintaining accurate records and documentation

Following health, safety, and electrical regulations at all times

About YouWe're looking for someone practical, safety‐focused, and keen to develop a long‐term career in electrical engineering.

You will ideally have:

A strong interest in electrical engineering or electrical systems

A practical, hands‐on approach to work

Good problem‐solving skills and attention to detail

A strong commitment to health and safety

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, Maths, and ideally a science subject

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
