We’re recruiting for an Online Insight Manager to join our team at our support centre in Bradford.
You’ll be partnering with the digital platform and marketing teams and using data to inform the delivery of the online business plan and improve customer experience. You’ll be in a management role where you’re owning the development of analytics strategy and using data analysis, modelling and visualisation skills to deliver value for the online business.
There’s two aspects to the role; ecommerce web analytics, where you’ll be analysing website performance and customer behaviour, making recommendations and measuring the impact of changes we make and Marketing analytics where you’ll be developing customer segmentation, understanding customer response to marketing campaigns and developing campaign strategy. Ideally you’ll be from a digital background and have experience in both areas.
We’ll need you to have technical skills like this;
Understanding of relational database architecture and common RDBMS
Understanding of SQL2011 standards and using SQL to query databases
Technical knowledge of web analytics data collection and best practice (preferably Google Analytics)
Knowledge of data visualisation best practice and expertise in visualising and storytelling with data using Tableau or other appropriate tools.
Analysing web / digital analytics data using Google Analytics and Google Big Query
And experience like this;
Performing exploratory, explanatory and inferential data analysis to proactively identify trends / issues within an ecommerce, marketing or trading context
Communicating output of analysis and making actionable recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders from varied backgrounds
Owning the development of analytics strategy and analytical processes / ways of working that enable the organisation to drive change that delivers measurable business benefit
Experience using data in a retail / ecommerce context and / or of the UK grocery market would be an advantage.
Leading others to develop analytical skills both as a line manager and those within the wider business
