At Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in West London we are looking for healthy men (who do not smoke and do not take any medication) aged between 18 and 40 years to take part in a research study looking at the effect of naturally produced hormones involved in digestion and metabolism on reproductive hormones.
The study involves an initial screening visit (approx 1hr) followed by up to 5 study visits at the hospital. These visits take place at Charing Cross Hospital, in Hammersmith, and last from 0815 - 1745. They all take place Monday - Friday and we are flexible with dates to fit with your availability. A maximum of 2 visits can take place per calender month to ensure your safety. People who participate will be paid expenses of up to £150 per study visit. Visits involve the infusion of a naturally produced hormone whilst having blood samples taken via an intravenous cannula. Participants are free to read, sleep, work and watch TV throughout the day. Wifi is available.
