Executive Summary

 

As part of the commercial team of six Regional Development Managers in Matrix & Biolage, you will be responsible for the management of Matrix & Biolage’s relationship with the distributors who sell the Matrix & Biolage brand.

 


Purpose of your new role

 

You will take responsibility for the management of a number of the distributor partners.  You will work with those distributors to negotiate, agree and implement joint business plans which achieve Matrix & Biolage’s targets for distribution, turnover and growth.  You will also have responsibility for maximising the effectiveness of the distributors’ sales consultants & store heroes.

 


Your key job accountabilities

 

  • Maintain an excellent relationship with the distributors, ensuring that the joint business plans are created and implemented that achieve the shared sell in and sell out objectives of the distributors and of Matrix & Biolage
  • Coach and develop 3rd party sales consultants employed by our distributor partner
  • Ensure that all NPD/marketing and commercial activity is implemented by the distributor partners
  • Implement relevant education plans for the distributors and their salons to optimise sell out growth
  • Work with the distributors to ensure the management and development of the distributor sales consultants
  • Work with distributors to gain new business and grow ISMS (in salon market share)
  • Work in line with logistics/demand planning/data analysis team to forecast and optimise our forecast accuracy
  • Negotiate your distributor contracts in line with a comprehensive joint business plan

 


The network you would work with

 

You will build strong relationships with distributors, distributor sales forces and salons.  You will work closely with the other Regional Development Managers, and the Matrix & Biolage marketing and education teams.
