If you are looking for a rewarding career where your caring nature and professionalism can truly change lives, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Job Description Purpose of RoleWe are looking for a warm, caring, and reliable live-in carer to support a lovely lady who lives in a peaceful gated development in Liphook .Every Sunday 9:00am to Monday 9:15pm (weekly)Daytime Care Assistants – supporting clients with daily living, personal care, and companionship.Waking/SleepingNight Care Assistants – providing attentive overnight care for clients who require additional support through the night.Training & DevelopmentAll new Care Assistants will complete 2 days of mandatory training to prepare for their role. Throughout your employment, you will receive ongoing training and support , with opportunities to be assessed and signed off as competent in key care skills. We also provide specialised ongoing training , including dementia care, to help you continuously develop your skills and deliver the highest quality care.About the Client:Our client is a kind and engaging lady with a wonderful life story — she spent many years living in India , and she loves sharing her experiences and photos from her travels.She enjoys:Listening to classical musicShort walks around the groundsSpending time with visiting familyLooking through and showing her photo albumsYou'll provide friendly and professional support, including:Personal care and daily routinesAssistance with medicationMeal preparation and light cookingCompanionship and meaningful conversationEncouragement to enjoy gentle activities and outingsWe're looking for someone who is:Compassionate, patient, and respectfulReliable and confident working independentlyExperienced in supporting someone with sight impairment (helpful but not essential)A good communicator with a genuine interest in peopleQualifications Compassion & empathy: A warm, approachable personality with the ability to connect meaningfully with older peopleProfessionalism: A dedicated and responsible approach, with a genuine passion for delivering the highest quality of careCommunication skills: A positive outlook and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken EnglishEligibility: The right to work in the UKMobility: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between client visits is requiredAdditional Information If you're a caring person who enjoys making a difference — and can bring kindness, warmth, and a sense of fun to someone's week — we'd love to hear from you.
