About The Role

We are currently recruiting for People Manager – Resourcing to support our Manufacturing & Logistics team, based from our Head Office in Bradford.

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for all resourcing activity for Manufacturing & Logistics. You will define and drive the resourcing strategy through significant partnership with HR and the business. You will champion consistent best and inclusive practices, review all opportunities for improvement and strategy alignment with all centres of excellence to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

In this role you will be accountable for;

Customer

  • Securing top diverse leadership team talent through full lifecycle recruiting process
  • Liaising with leadership teams to identify personal needs, workforce planning strategies and search assignments
  • Maintaining an awareness of external marketplace and positioning of business; building ideas around developing reputation and credibility of function
  • Coaching hiring managers on best practice resourcing and candidate experience
  • Role modelling and adhering to the REC good recruitment campaign principles

Colleague

  • Keeping teams updated around internal/ external impacting business factors
  • Ensuring unrivalled candidate and hiring manager experience using feedback to drive improvements
  • Working with the hiring managers to effectively on-board successful senior candidates

Operational

  • Managing and leading a team of in-house Resourcing Specialists
  • Managing the development and succession planning of the resourcing team
  • Defining the divisional strategy in line with the group resourcing plan
  • Developing and reporting on the business talent map and succession plan to fully identify what the talent needs of the function are and how resourcing can support the business in delivering against them
  • Initiating high volume specialist hiring plans in partnership with talent/HR business partners and business leaders
  • Continuously identifying opportunities to improve on the KPI measures
  • Working with brand to align resourcing communications/EVP to customer brand
  • Driving innovation and best practice through a network of professional internal and external contacts

Sales and Profit

  • Delivering a plan for annual strategy and budget requirements
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and external organisations to achieve headcount targets
  • Managing and driving the performance of key strategic supplier/ third party relationships
About You

Ideally, you will be working or have worked as a Resourcing Manager either in-house or within an RPO environment for a large-scale, fast-paced, diverse Manufacturing, Logistics or FMCG environment.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience;

Operational

  • A strong resourcing background with significant experience of the talent cycle gained from either in house, or RPO environment
  • Strong on driving and delivering large-scale, nationwide projects within resourcing e.g. Diversity Agenda and Brexit.
