We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected wholesale business in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the finance function in a sole bookkeeper role, using your skills to keep the business running smoothly.
What You Will Be Covering
- Banking and transfers, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately
- Purchase and Sales Ledgers management
- Chasing overdue accounts and supporting cashflow
- Payroll processing
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Handling import/export documents
- General administration and ad hoc finance tasks
- Supporting the business with reporting and month-end processes
What You Need to Bring
- Confidence and experience working in a sole bookkeeping role
- Strong IT skills; experience with Xero and Excel is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
