Multi-Modal Export Administrator (Air, Sea & Road)

Are you an experienced Multi-Modal Export Administrator with strong knowledge of air, sea, and road freight? Ready to take the next step in your logistics career with a dynamic and growing freight forwarder? This could be the perfect opportunity for you.


We are partnering with a highly respected provider of logistics and transportation services, now looking to add a talented Export professional to their team.

The Role

This is a fast-paced and varied position where you will take full ownership of export operations, managing shipments from booking through to delivery across multiple transport modes.

You will play a key role in ensuring shipments run smoothly, customers stay informed, and operations remain compliant, efficient, and profitable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end-to-end export bookings across air, sea, and road freight
  • Coordinating multi-modal shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Handling customs documentation and ensuring full compliance with international regulations
  • Liaising with carriers, 3PL providers, overseas agents, and internal teams
  • Negotiating competitive rates with suppliers and logistics partners
  • Supporting business development and sales activity, including handling incoming leads
  • Maintaining accurate records, shipment updates, and invoicing using systems such as LBase
  • Working closely with management to maximise profitability and efficiency
  • Assisting colleagues during peak periods and contributing to a collaborative team environment

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in multi-modal export operations (air, ocean, and road)
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding, supply chain processes, and export compliance
  • Knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, and international shipping regulations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and global partners
  • High attention to detail, particularly with documentation and financial accuracy
  • Experience with CRM systems and logistics software (such as LBase) is advantageous

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 17:30 (flexibility required)
