Operations Coordinator (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)


The Role

We’re supporting a growing, well-regarded mortgage brokerage, and they’re looking for a highly organised Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day running of the business.


This is a key role that sits at the centre of the client journey. You’ll be responsible for keeping everything moving, managing multiple workstreams, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.


The position is part-time and designed to fit around existing commitments, including school hours. We’re open on hours for the right person, typically in the region of 20–30 hours per week, and happy to structure this in a way that works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and progress client cases from initial application through to completion
  • Package and submit applications accurately and efficiently
  • Liaise with lenders, solicitors, and third parties to keep cases moving
  • Track multiple cases at different stages, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is compliant
  • Provide clear and timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve issues that could delay progress


What We’re Looking For

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and comfortable managing your own workload
  • Confident communicator, able to deal with clients and external partners
  • Able to handle multiple priorities without losing accuracy


Experience in one of the following is preferred:

  • Mortgage or lending administration
  • Financial services, legal, or property-related roles (e.g. Estate agency, conveyancing)
  • A previous corporate role with strong operational or administrative responsibility


The Package

  • £27,600 pro rata
  • Flexible part-time hours, typically between 20–30 hours per week
