We’re looking for an experienced Operations Co-ordinator to support the delivery of an innovative service enabling smart meter installations in complex, multi-occupancy buildings (“crowded meter rooms”).

The Role

You’ll play a key role in coordinating day-to-day operations, acting in a Service Manager-style capacity under an NEC4 contract. Working closely with Meter Equipment Managers, suppliers, and network operators, you’ll ensure cases are delivered on time, to SLA, and with full visibility.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate and manage operational casework across a complex project
  • Engage with internal & external stakeholders to track delivery and resolve issues
  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, and data accuracy
  • Monitor performance against SLAs and manage escalations
  • Analyse data, identify issues, and support problem-solving
  • Support wider project team and lifecycle delivery

✅ What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience coordinating operations/project workstreams
  • Strong admin & organisational skills in fast-paced environments
  • Confident stakeholder management (internal & external)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Office, CRM/case systems)
  • Experience working to SLAs or within contract frameworks

Desirable (not essential):

  • Energy/utilities or smart metering experience
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts
  • Advanced Excel or reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)
  • Project management training (PRINCE2/APM)

Why Apply?

  • Be part of a national smart energy rollout solving real-world challenges
  • Work alongside experienced professionals and senior stakeholders
  • Gain exposure to a high-profile, growing programme
  • Develop new skills in a fast-evolving sector

If you’re detail-driven, organised, and thrive in a collaborative environment—this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact.
