Weekend Receptionist / Clinic Manager in London

A weekend customer services & admin job in a Tech Start Up providing Londoners with private affordable GP appointments. Your primary role will be to deliver exceptional customer service to our patients.

What we offer:

£8/hr rising to £10/hr upon completion of Child Safeguarding and Infection Control Certificates. These certificates are paid for by DocTap and you can learn for them on the job. Most people will complete these by the end of their third day at work.

5.6 weeks paid holiday (pro rata)

Free same day, not waiting DocTap GP appointments when you are sick.

About DocTap

DocTap's vision is to provide all Londoners with convenient, expert, affordable, in person GP care, whenever and wherever they need it. We currently have 7 clinics in Bond Street, Victoria, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, Monument, Chancery Lane and Waterloo. Appointment prices start from £29 for a 15 minute, face to face consultation with a UK accredited GP.

Our doctors can assist patients with diagnosis, prescriptions, sick notes, referrals to specialists, blood test, scans and general medical advice. Despite being very much a startup, we have already treated over 11,000 patients with 97% of patients recommending the service.

The Position

Following exceptional demand for the service, we are expanding our opening times to include Saturdays and Sundays. This has given rise to an exciting opportunity for a weekend receptionist. Your primary role will be to deliver exceptional customer service to our patients. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Opening the clinic in the morning
  • Welcoming doctors and patients
  • Answering the telephone
  • Responding to emails
  • Assisting the doctor with administrative tasks
  • Should you have any questions there will always be a senior manager on call to assist you.

Location: DocTap Kings Cross & Euston clinic

Times: We are looking for people who can work either Saturdays, Sundays or both. Standard hours are:

Saturday: 9:30 - 5pm

Sunday: 11am - 5:30pm

About you

You enjoy providing exceptional customer service, on the phone, over email and face to face. Applicants need to be reliable and polite at all times, you should be a multi tasker who is organised, confident and customer focused.

What we ask:

  • Minimum degree: Completed Secondary School (18 or over)
  • Minimum work experience: Customer service experience will be beneficial
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Provide exceptional customer service, on the phone, over email and face to face.
