HGV Class 2 Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV class 2 driver to join one of our well established clients in the Knutsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, shifts are generally Tuesday to Friday with a couple of nights out included and the guarantee of 10 weeks work as a minimum.

The role will be suitable for experienced HGV class 2 drivers who have previous experience doing nights out.

Shifts

Tuesday – Friday (Will include nights out)

Start time – Tuesday 7am

Rate of pay: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour

Day 2 Day Duties

• Driving Cat C vehicle safely and efficiently
• Completing between 3 and 8 drops per day
• Ensuring all loads are delivered promptly and also ensure the product arrives in good condition
• Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering the products into the store
• Complete all required paperwork accurately

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years driving experience
• Valid UK cat C driving license
• Valid UK CPC card and digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• No major endorsement codes

Desirable Experience

• Multi drop store delivery experience
• Previous experience of nights out

Training

• First day driving assessment
• Industry related training and ongoing support throughout
