Graduate Controls Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

Job Salary: circa £34K

Job Location: Near Bedford, Bedfordshire (easily commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes, Cambridge)

Job Key Skills: A recent graduate in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics or a closely related degree discipline.

Job Summary: Electrical Engineering graduate or Control Systems graduate required for an entry-level Graduate Controls Engineer job in Bedfordshire.

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist, bespoke machinery.

The job involves a wide range of skills including Electrical Circuit Design, Variable speed and servo drives, PLCs and HMIs. Due to the significant amount of software content, successful candidates will be able to plan and implement complex programs.

The job is suited to an inquisitive graduate with a strong work-ethic and the desire to launch a career within a leading Engineering company.

Job Requirements:

• A 2:1 degree in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems or a closely related discipline
• Inquisitive approach to work with proven interpersonal skills and a desire to launch a career within a progressive environment
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, Electrical Circuit Design, variable speed and servo drives would be advantageous.
