Site Manager (Structured cabling & Connectivity)

This is an ideal position for someone who is looking for step up into site management with a strong grounding structured cabling and connectivity.

Role Overview

A Site Manager is required to oversee delivery of structured cabling and data centre infrastructure projects. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery, and acting as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and project delivery for data centre and structured cabling installations
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and quality standards on site
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to meet industry and client requirements
• Report project progress, issues, and risks to project management teams
• Support the resolution of technical or operational issues on site
• Ensure site documentation, drawings, and reports are maintained accurately
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing site operations in data centre, telecom, or ICT infrastructure projects
• Strong background in structured cabling installation and testing
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and best practices (e.g., TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, BS/EN)
• Ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and schedules efficiently
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with project documentation, reporting, and site safety requirements
