Student Ambassador - PayPal -

We’re on the hunt for student ambassadors at Manchester, Loughborough and Kingston Universities to spread the word about what we do. Confident, committed and persuasive people who can make their fellow students realise the financial power that lies in their pocket. By joining us, you’ll become an enthusiastic advocate for the PayPal brand and rally your whole campus to rethink the way they send, request and collect money from friends – until the PayPal app is the first thing they reach for.

What are you going to do:

We live in a world where we can do almost everything at the touch of a button. But when it comes to making safe, reliable transactions for sending money, there's nobody who makes it as easy as PayPal. Whether you're paying a mate back for that pint or transferring your share of the rent, our app makes student life a doddle. And for your average tech-savvy individual, we reckon it's something well worth sharing. That's where you come in.

About the role

We're on the hunt for student ambassadors to spread the word about what we do. By joining us, you'll become an enthusiastic advocate for the PayPal brand and rally your whole campus to rethink the way they send, request and collect money from friends – until the PayPal app is the first thing they reach for.

What you'll do

  • Increase awareness of our money transferring service and facilitate app downloads on campus
  • Encourage the transfer of money between students, using our app
  • Represent our brand professionally and positively
  • Spread the love for PayPal – both in person and across your social media communities
  • Take initiative and be creative in finding solutions to meet the objectives PayPal set

Location: In Loughborough, Kingston and Manchester

  • Ideally, you’ll have had some experience in projects that involved promoting to a range of people

Extra information

We're looking for current students who are willing to give this opportunity their all. Ideally, you'll have had some experience in projects that involved promoting to a range of people. Even better would be a marketing or business qualification – but it's not essential. But what we will definitely want to see are first-class communication skills, an outgoing personality and a passion for all things social media.

We'll look to you to promote the app to the best of your ability – so we need you to be fully committed as you would a full-time job. If you get the results we need across the hours you work, the incentives on offer make it all worth it.
