HGV Class 1 Driver – Livingston

People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a variety of our well-established clients based in Livingston.

This is a great opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible work across multiple contracts, including trunking, store deliveries, and general haulage.

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Sunday work available
• Day shift and night shift options
• Flexible start times depending on client requirements

Rates of Pay:

• Dayshift: £16.50 per hour (first 8 hours between 6am – 6pm)
• Nightshift: £17.50 per hour (first 8 hours between 6pm – 6am)
• Overtime 1: £19.00 per hour (after 8 hours Monday–Friday and all Saturday hours)
• Overtime 2: £20.00 per hour (all Sunday and Bank Holiday hours)

Rates may vary slightly depending on the assignment and client.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver will include:

• Trunking and/or multi-drop deliveries
• Store and depot deliveries
• Completing vehicle checks and paperwork
• Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods
• Adhering to all driving regulations

Essential Skills:

The skills required to be an HGV Class 1 Driver are:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• CPC and digital tachograph card
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and flexible approach to work

Training:

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout
