This role involves driving a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Operation: Safely drive a Class 2 vehicle in compliance with DVSA and company regulations.Deliveries: Perform multi-drop deliveries efficiently, adhering to scheduled times.Vehicle Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.Documentation: Complete relevant paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety and cleanliness at all times.RequirementsLicence: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card.Experience: Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 driving experience preferred; new passes are accepted.Driving Record: No more than 6 penalty points on the licence (no DR, DD, IN endorsements).Knowledge: Good understanding of drivers hours and working time directive.Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks as required.BenefitsCompetitive Pay & New Pass acceptedConsistent Hours: Monday to Friday shifts with early start times.Supportive Environment: Join a reputable company with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
