Working hours per week: 40

Salary: £13.19 per hour (plus £30.00 additional sleep‐in rate)

Shift Pattern: 16/24 Hour (including sleep‐in) on a one on two off or two on four off basis.

About the RoleWe are looking for Children's Residential Care Workers to help young people to live independently and thrive. The role requires empathy, compassion, resilience and positive parenting skills. You will be emotionally strong, detail‐oriented, approachable, and committed to keeping the children's safety assured.

The working day can be unpredictable. You may organise activities in the morning and provide 1:1 support in the afternoon.

Duties

Deliver the highest quality care for our children

Offer guidance, support and structure to their everyday lives

Support the young people to engage and access education

Promote a healthy lifestyle and positive living choices

Access clinically‐led training to improve your skills and develop practise

Perform household duties

Record keeping and report writing

Organise days out (e.g. Social events, shopping, cinema, swimming)

Coordinate contacts, visits, key work meetings and therapy sessions

Provide transport to support the young people's access to different provisions

Requirements

MUST hold a Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable (but not essential) to hold:NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare

Previous experience working in a therapeutic environment or therapeutic qualifications

Experience supporting and leading educational engagement

Previous leadership skills and qualifications

Higher level training and qualifications
