Female Support Worker (Full-Time) – Chartwell Trust CareChartwell Trust Care is seeking a Female Support Worker to join its residential and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour. Job SummaryThe Female Support Worker will provide personal care, emotional support, and assistance with daily living tasks. The role requires patience, flexibility, and the ability to manage challenging behaviour while encouraging independence and participation in social activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and support to individuals
Encourage independence and emotional wellbeing
Assist with domestic duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal finances)
Support with medication management and record keeping
Follow health and safety policies and procedures
Report maintenance issues promptly
Provide first aid when required
Enable participation in leisure and social activities
Manage and diffuse challenging behaviour effectively
Candidate Requirements
Right to work in the UK
Flexible and committed
Patient, logical, and able to manage challenging situations
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Experience working with challenging behaviour
Valid UK driving licence
£12.60 per hour
Free Enhanced DBS check
Paid full training and induction
Fully funded NVQ qualifications
