What are you going to do:
Part time on-line conceptual interior design work available for BA Interior Design students.
Must be 2nd/3rd year interior design students familiar with & have access to the usual interior design software programs.
Working from home and liaising via skype, you will draft and prepare conceptual proposals for new E-design interior design projects. This means that all work is conducted online and submitted as a digital presentation.
Working from an existing client brief and reporting directly to a Senior Designer, you will propose and prepare a full conceptual design for either a new or ongoing residential client.
Duties involved:
- Prepare floor plan (1 x room) / select FF&E / select wall/floor
- Finish / space plan FF&E / sketch work if required/ elevation /
- Compose specification shopping list / liaise with 3D visualiser /
- Prepare final digital client presentation for issuance back to your Senior Designer.
Work is set to target deadlines but flexible to suit working around your studies. You organise your own time but you are expected to meet a required time line.
As all the design work is online home based, your location is not important.
What we offer:
- £50.00 per room for full concept design package
- £25.00 per room for partial makeover package
- £10.00 per room for Colour/décor package
- Based on expected hours to complete project works, the room payment equates to £6.00 - £10.00 per hour.
- Payment is based per room and a full concept room project should take you anywhere between 5 - 8 hours. Payment = £50.00 max per room.
- A colour consultation should take approx 60 min and pays £10.00 max per room.
- If required - 1 x minor revision is built into these payments. Any further revisions will be paid at an agreed rate TBC at time.
What we ask:
- You should be registered as a university student
- Autocad or eqiv is essential.
- 3D Max or equiv is advantageous but not essential.
- 2nd or 3rd year BA students preferred.
- Must have own or access to; all relevant Interior Design program software and be proficient in all basic IT skill sets.
- An above average level of both written and spoken English is essential.
