Care Assistants Extra Care (Brighton)

Locations: Brooke mead Extra Care, BN2 9AJ
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shifts:Day shifts and waking nights available

About Our Extra Care Services

Brookemead (Brooke Mead) Extra Care Brighton

Brookemead is a modern extra care scheme comprising45 one-bedroom apartments, designed for residents with lowmedium dementia needs. It offerson-site 24/7 care, communal lounge, laundry, garden and residents activity spaces, and is known for its warm community and varied activities.[housingcare.org]

The Extra care scheme is located in the Brightonclose to public transport links, shops and seafront amenities.

The Role

As a Care Assistant working in Extra Care, you will support residents living independently in their own self-contained apartments within the building. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care for female residents
• Supporting with medication
• Assisting with meals and hydration
• Encouraging independence, wellbeing and dignity
• Supporting residents with daily routines in a calm, structured environment
• Working as part of a supportive on-site team

These roles provide stability, consistency and the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with residentswithout the rushed travel associated with domiciliary care.
