Are you a people person with a passion for eye care and a creative spark for digital marketing? Monnow Eyecare Optometrists is looking for a dynamic Optical Assistant who can also take charge of our social media and online presence. We are committed to deliver excellent customer service. With specialist clinics running throughout the week there is a huge variety of patients coming through our doors.

In this role, youll be the face of our practice, providing exceptional customer care in our modern, welcoming clinic, while also driving engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and our website. Youll assist patients with frame selection, lens advice, and appointment coordination, while creating compelling content, scheduling posts, and ensuring our website stays fresh and engaging.. Were looking for:

* Experience in an optical or healthcare setting (ideal but not essential)

* Proven marketing skills, especially managing social media and websites

* Excellent communication and organizational skills

This is a key role assisting the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians. The right candidate should be passionate about optics and want to be part of a modern, technology driven practice whilst building the brand . They will also be creative in terms of marketing ideas and activity that will attract new customers whilst retaining our current loyal following, and of course working diligently alongside colleagues to deliver a successful and profitable business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

o Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism.

o Develop in depth knowledge of all products and merchandise.

o Close attention to detail; re prescriptions and special requirements.

o Perform work accurately and thoroughly with ability to cope with volume at busy times.

o Assist/advise the customer in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle and prescription.

o Create and execute marketing campaigns / social media content.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties, as the whole team need to work collaboratively to provide a first-class service.
