Freelance Stockroom Assistant (Packing & Inventory – Temporary Contract)

Oceanus The Label is a growing fashion brand looking for a reliable and hands-on Stockroom Assistant to support our day-to-day operations. This role will involve working closely with our stock and fulfilling orders from a small stockroom space in South West London.

The space currently holds approximately 800 units and requires hands-on organisation, inventory management, and efficient day-to-day handling.

This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to extend into a longer-term position depending on performance and business needs. We are open to both part-time and full-time availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
• Receiving and organising incoming stock deliveries
• Managing and processing returns efficiently
• Organising and optimising a small stockroom space
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring stock is stored neatly, logically, and accessibly

What We’re Looking For:

• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Proactive and able to work independently
• Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting, packing, moving stock)
• Reliable and punctual
• Someone who can bring structure and order to a growing operation
• Previous experience in stockrooms, e-commerce, or logistics is a plus, but not essential

Additional Details:

• Rate: £12 per hour
• Contract Type: Freelance / Self-Employed (Temporary)
• Flexible hours depending on workload (part-time or full-time availability considered)
• Initial short-term project to organise and manage
• Potential for ongoing work following initial period
• Immediate start preferred
