What is the role?

We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Accounts team for a minimum fixed term of 6 months. This will be a varied role in a busy accounts office reporting to the Finance Manager.

What you'll do as an Accounts Assistant

• Processing of payments for across the Persimmon Group
• Processing of expenses
• Further duties will be entailed within the finance team which will be confirmed
• Provide cover across the department as required by the Finance Manager
• Administrative duties in relation to Group Car fleet

What experience do I need?

• Previous experience in a similar role with 18 to 24 months experience minimum
• Ability to be accurate and proficient in numeracy
• Have intermediate level of Microsoft Excel use
• Ability to be methodical, accurate and be capable of working to tight deadlines
• You will be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills, working independently and prioritising workloads
