HGV Class 2 Driver

Shift Start: Between 8am 11am Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime available Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (flexibility required)

Are You an Experienced HGV Class 2 Driver Looking for a Stable, Permanent Role?

Due to exciting expansion of our Kent operations, The Delivery Group the UK's 4th largest mail operator is looking for motivated and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our growing Transport team in Aylesford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a globally recognised logistics business, delivering for some of the world's most prestigious blue-chip clients across London and the South East.

What You'll Be Doing

• Completing collections and deliveries to a specified run list across London & the South East
• Transporting pallets, roll cages and loose bags safely and on time
• Delivering outstanding customer service at every stop representing our brand with professionalism
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or incidents promptly
• Flexibly operating both van and Class 2 HGV vehicles as required
• Supporting with warehouse duties when needed
• Adhering to all company driver behaviour guidelines and road safety standards

What We're Looking For

You'll need to bring the following to the role:

• Full HGV Class 2 licence with CPC Modules 2 & 4 (essential)
• Strong command of the English language written and verbal
• A professional, customer-focused attitude
• Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail getting it right first time
• A positive, flexible approach to working hours and changing demands
• Good initiative and a willingness to ask for support when needed
• Friendly, approachable and personable nature
