Airport Meet & Greet Assistant

Airport Angels provide assistance to all student arrivals and departures at Heathrow Airport. Their main task is to ensure that students are met and that transfers operate safely, efficiently and effectively. The students in your care can be aged from 8-18 years. They are arriving into an unfamiliar environment and it is our job to be the smiling face that greets them, makes them feel welcome, and then sets them on their journey to their school.

5 - 23 hours per week
£8.50 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

Main Responsibilities

  • To assist the Airport Coordinator to provide an efficient Meet & Greet / Check-In service.
  • To be responsible for the students in their care until either thescheduled transport departs for their final destination or they are seen through Security on Check-In.
  • To liaise with schools / organisations and parents when required.
  • To report any problems immediately to the Airport Angels AirportCo-ordinator.
  • Actively promote Airport Angels in a positive way, when on duty andat other times when representing the company.
  • To adhere to all statutory regulations and to Airport Angelspolicies and Safeguarding procedures.

What we ask

  • At least finished high school
  • Must be available for an interview in May and Training Day on 09 June 2018.
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekend. Shifts can start as early as 04.00 and can finish as late as 22.30.
  • Must work Weekends
  • Due to the hours of working, all applicants must be over 17 years of age.
  • An ability to deliver high standards of customer service.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • To be smart and professional in appearance.
  • To be polite and courteous to passengers, airline staff and our clients at all times including, potentially difficult situations.
  • To be approachable at all times and ready to help, wearing a smile.
