Role: Network Development Manager

 

Location: Manchester

 

Working Hours: 37.5

 

Job Purpose: Manage network development process for TC UK (MT) with dedicated focus on SMH network

  

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Development of strategic positioning of TC Airlines UK from a network point of view including establishing a network strategy process which incorporates all stakeholders (Sales, Revenue Management, airports, tourism boards)
  • Identification of growth opportunities based on analysis of markets, competition, sales channels, input from Tour Operators
  • Development of concepts and analysis to optimize market position of TC Airlines UK at its origin airports as well in destinations.
  • Development of business cases, communication plans, presentations, approval papers
  • Establish profound network to airports and tourism boards with the aim of developing (new) routes and securing marketing incentive
  • Lead and/or support in strategic projects  related to business development

 

Key Performance Indicators

 

  • Successful preparation and  steering of network development process in UK
  • Establishment of network with airports / tourism boards to generate marketing support, incentives as part of route development

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

 

Must have:

 

  • Substantial knowledge of planning in the airline industry in general and UK specifically, ideally with a background in the leisure air transport market
  • Experience in network development, network planning or similar such as revenue management
  • Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking
  • Strong skills in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, entrepreneurial thinking
  • Able to develop projects self-driven/independently while being able to work in a team

 

Preferred:

 

  • Foreign language skills preferably German, Spanish
  • Proven track record in project management

 

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations

 

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Transport management, Aviation Management or similarly obtained knowledge through equivalent job experience
