What are you going to do:
QA Testers Responsibilities
QA Testers will remain approachable, helpful, and open to process suggestions from the Managing Director, Executive QA Managers, QA Manager, and Test Leads. It's expected that a collaborative attitude be promoted throughout the company.
To communicate daily with the QA Manager and Test Leads.
To Complete functional testing of products to a very high level of quality. This includes reporting issues clearly and concisely, managing the life of a bug through regression and general comment updates.
If required, the QA Tester will be active on multi-platform Compliance Testing sweeps to ensure the compliant nature of a product. This will be subject to requirement and skillset.
If required through client request, the QA Tester will be expected to help create test plan documentation for appropriate products, alongside the Test Lead. This documentation will be expected to follow the high standard expectations of a Testology service.
To help the Test Lead to provide creative, thoughtful, and professional feedback on new projects during the 1st round of testing, this also includes positive and negative criticisms with suggestions on improving the product. This must be completed on all new products and products that have introduced significant new features.
To pass on knowledge and supervise work experience candidates when they have been assigned to the Test Lead's project.
To ensure that yourself and the test team maintain high quality throughout the product test phase cycle.Once you've become more experienced, to also aid with educating and training the Testology testing community and encourage quality standards throughout the company.
