At Queen Mary University, we are looking for participants to take part in research on Virtual Reality in Basic Life Support training. Each participant will receive either a unique VR BLS training experience OR a fully certified BLS course with accreditation certificate included!
My name is Dalal Hubail. I am currently doing an MSc in Laparoscopic Surgery and Surgical Skills. My thesis project is a randomised controlled trail comparing the traditional basic life support course and virtual reality BLS course. I need participants to join the study – each participant is going to be randomly allocated to one of the two courses. The only exclusion criteria is if you had previous formal basic life support training within the past year (so you are eligible if your last BLS training was about a year or more ago or never did BLS before). We will run the courses on the 9th of May at the Charterhouse Square Campus in the Joseph Rotblat building at 9 am (first session) and 1 pm (second session).
