Office Admin Assistant – Join Our Growing Team!We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly organised Office Administrative Assistant to manage the daily administrative functions of our office. This crucial role ensures a smooth operational workflow and provides essential support to staff, management and visitors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Location: London Office in Watford

Term: Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the office. Professionally answer and route phone calls and manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence (email, postal mail, and deliveries).

Scheduling & Coordination: Manage Surveyor calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, book conference rooms, coordinate catering and handle travel arrangements for staff members.

Document Management: Organise, file and maintain both physical and digital records and documentation systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality. Type, edit, format and distribute documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence.

Support & Operations: Assist management and various departments with special projects, data entry and presentation preparation as needed. Provide basic expense report processing and invoice tracking support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role, office management, or front desk position.

Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office equipment. Familiarity with basic office management software (e.g., calendar scheduling systems, expense tracking software).

Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Interpersonal Skills: Professional demeanour with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to interact positively with all levels of staff and external clients.

Attributes: Proactive, reliable, a team player and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Reporting to our Office manager.
