Job Title: Graduate Learning Support AssistantLocation: WirralStart Date: June 2026Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, Term Time Only

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands‐on experience in education? Do you have a passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential? We are currently recruiting a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work, offering valuable classroom experience and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups across a range of subjects

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons

Provide targeted support for students with additional needs, including SEN

Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

Support students' academic progress and emotional wellbeing

Contribute to lesson preparation and classroom organisation

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A recent degree or expected completion in 2026 or 2027 (any subject considered, though education, psychology, or related fields are advantageous)

A genuine interest in working within education

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach

The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
