The Role

Join our growing LabLogic team as a HR Assistant based at our Sheffield head office. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on HR experience while studying towards a CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Management, giving you the qualifications and skills to build a long-term HR career with us.

You will work closely with our HR Coordinator and HR Director providing essential support across the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and HR processes. You'll be part of a supportive team, where people and culture are at the heart of what we do.

This is an office-based role, reflecting our strong family atmosphere and people-first approach. It's ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, has excellent attention to detail, and is eager to develop their HR career as part of a growing, world leading organisation.

ResponsibilitiesYou will work across a range of different areas within the business bringing your own ideas and insights into the different processes. Your main areas of responsibility will be:

Coordinating the recruitment process to ensure managers receive high quality candidates

Supporting onboarding for new starters; collaborating with multiple departments

Working with managers in various performance management processes

Overseeing the offboarding process

Supporting HR processes for our US and French companies

Managing the HR inbox

The above list is not exhaustive and, as such, you may be required to undertake other duties as appropriate.

Requirements

Strong interest in developing a HR career

Willingness to study towards CIPD Level 3 in People Management (fully supported by the company)

Excellent people skills and communication abilities (being a people person is essential to being a success in HR at LabLogic!)

Experience in an office-based role, with confidence in handling data and information

Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality

Organised with effective prioritisation skills

Strong IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)

Willingness to travel occasionally to other sites

Employment law knowledge

Experience of working in a HR role
