Overview Start Date: March 2026Contract Type: Permanent, live-outChildren: Girl (5 years), Boy (7 years)Location: Chiswick, London (3-minute walk from Chiswick train station / Grove Park)Salary: £30,000 gross equivalent, paid year-roundWorking Hours :Term Time: Monday to Friday: 2:00pm–7:00pmSchool Holidays: Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pmAdditional Hours: Occasional Saturdays (maximum once per month, e.g. 10:00am–5:00pm), sometimes swapped for a weekday, but often paid as an additional day. Flexibility for occasional extra paid hours and babysitting is appreciatedRole Responsibilities This is a sole-charge childcare role , including:School and activity pick-ups (school is a 7-minute walk from the family home)Supporting daily homework, after-school clubs, and organising playdatesMaintaining smooth routines and encouraging independencePreparing simple, healthy meals for the childrenPlanning ahead for school days, activities, and holiday outingsManaging children's laundry and keeping wardrobes organisedTidying children's bedrooms and play areas, and cleaning the kitchen after useThe Ideal Candidate Warm, caring, confident, and genuinely engaging with childrenHighly organised with the ability to plan aheadProactive, with strong initiative and anticipation of children's needsExperienced, with a minimum of 5 years' professional nanny experienceComfortable with some flexibility in working hoursA first-language English speaker or fully fluent in spoken and written English, particularly tosupport homeworkPay & Benefits £30,000 equivalent gross salarySalary paid monthly, averaged across the year to provide financial stability, and covering 37term-time weeks and 15 school holiday weeksIncludes 5 weeks of paid holiday when the family is on holiday, plus bank holidaysAdditional paid hours are available if desired. Light additional housekeeping or cleaning iswelcome if the nanny is interested, but not required
