Students needed for the Pearson Student Advisory Board 2018/19

Pearson are seeking bright, motivated university students to join the Pearson Student Advisory Board for 2018/19. Receive £500 and work on projects in your own time, helping to shape the future of educational resources.

What are you going to do:

The Pearson Student Advisory Board is a fantastic opportunity for students, giving you a chance to collaborate with Pearson and influence our future courseware and digital learning products.

What do you get out of being on the board?

  • Work with Pearson for the academic year 2018-19 on projects that involve giving student feedback on a range of topics
  • Work part time, to suit your timetable - about 2-3 hours a week in term time
  • Gain real world, CV building experience before graduation
  • Receive a £500 stipend for the year plus free Pearson books of your choice
  • Go on an expenses paid trip to London for the Student Advisory Board summit

In September, the successful students will attend the Pearson Student Advisory Board summit in London and will work on projects throughout the academic year until early summer 2019.

This opportunity is particularly suitable for students studying Business, (including Management, Marketing, Accounting and Finance), Economics, Law, Psychology and STEM subjects due to a high demand for student input on our Higher Education products in these disciplines.

What we ask:

  • You should be registered as a university student in your first or second year. (We particularly welcome applications from 1st years who will serve on the board in their 2nd year at university.)

  • Students must be able to attend the summit in London on 13 and 14 September 2018 (travel, accommodation and expenses will be covered by Pearson)
