A high level of subject knowledge is necessary in order to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts.Responsibilities To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintainedTo submit samples to your Team Leader at designated timesTo ensure milestones for marking are adhered toTo ensure all administration is completed as specifiedExperience and Qualifications Required You will have a degree or equivalentYou will be a qualified teacherYou will have at least one academic year's worth of teaching experience at GCSE (or International GCSE) or GCE (International A Level) level, within the last 8 yearsMust be fluent in writing and speaking EnglishYou should be currently working in a centre that runs Pearson qualificationsNOTE: Please indicate in the application form on "Teaching Experience" section the Pearson centre number of your school or institution that delivers Pearson qualifications.If you are currently teaching to a centre or institution that is not delivering Pearson qualification, you may submit your interest by answering the form link below.Competencies Required You will have the ability to work well under pressureYou will have the ability to meet deadlinesYou will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark schemeAdditional Information The marking period is between May-July.
