Assist registered practitioners in the assessment and care of patients by undertaking delegated clinical tasks such as recording vital signs, supporting prescribed treatments, and reporting any changes in a patient's condition promptly.
Provide compassionate personal care to patients, including support with hygiene, nutrition and mobility, while promoting independence and maintaining dignity, privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and members of the multidisciplinary team, contributing to accurate documentation and patient records using the relevant electronic systems.
Assist with patient flow within the units, including observing patients in waiting areas, supporting the discharge process and ensuring patients and carers are involved in their care.
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to infection prevention and control, health and safety, and Trust policies, and by reporting risks, incidents or concerns appropriately.
