The Role
A compliance role with a focus on market abuse surveillance. The successful candidate will be part of a small team that is responsible for ensuring that the company has the appropriate controls and procedures in place to ensure compliance with market abuse regulation.
Responsibilities include:
Conduct daily market abuse surveillance, including the review and investigation of automated alerts
Assess alerts in a timely manner, documenting findings and forming clear, reasoned conclusions
Identify and elevate potential market abuse risks or concerns in line with internal procedures
Support the ongoing effectiveness of the firm's market abuse controls and monitoring frameworks
Produce management information and trend analysis relating to surveillance activity
Work closely with other members of the Compliance team and relevant internal stakeholders
Key skills and experience required
Excellent analytical and investigative skills
Strong attention to detail
High level of accuracy
Highly organised; able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Team player; able to work effectively in a team
Knowledge of UK Market Abuse Regulation desirable
