Role: Junior Data Scientist

Location: Bristol (hybrid)

Salary: up to £40,000

Peaple Talent has partnered with a financial services company with an entrepreneurial and innovative view. They are looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join the team to help deliver accurate, scalable, and impactful reporting and analytical insights.

The Role

Write and improve SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data within Microsoft Fabric.

Build and maintain clear, user-friendly dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Develop and support Python data pipelines, automation, and analysis tools.

Support the development of forecasting, segmentation, and statistical models where needed.

The Candidate

Confident using SQL to write advanced queries for extracting, transforming, and analysing data.

Experience using Python to support automation and data-related processes.

Skilled in developing Power BI dashboards and reports, including the use of DAX and data modelling techniques.

Understanding of Microsoft Fabric or other modern cloud data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Databricks.

Strong grasp of core statistical concepts and analytical methods.

The PackageBase Salary: up to £40,000
