Job Title:Class 2 HGV Driver Flatbed Work
Location:Wakefield (Trailer Site)
Pay Rate:£15.50 per hour
Overtime:Paid at time and a half after 10 hours

About the Role:

Recruit A Driver are looking for reliable Class 2 Drivers to work on a long-standing CHEP pallets contract, delivering and collecting CHEP pallets using flatbed vehicles from an unmanned trailer site in Wakefield.

What Youll Do:

• Drive flatbed vehicles completing between 6-8 regional deliveries
• Work with automatic vehicles
• Follow clear delivery instructions (regular trailer numbers may be sent via text)
• Start your day at 06:00

Requirements:

• Confident securing high loads (approx 16ft) using ratchets and straps
• Own a smartphone to use the delivery app
• 1 year Class 2 flatbed experience

Shifts & Hours:

• Day shifts with a 06:00 start
• Flexible working pattern
• Overtime paid after 10 hours
