We are looking to recruit a Business Improvement Manager based at our support centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This role is a permanent, full-time position.
In this role you will develop and deliver the business improvement framework across all head office based functions including developing material, training material out and coaching high potential colleagues through required changes. You will work as part of a virtual team of business improvement managers supporting and sharing best practice with Logistics, Manufacturing and Retail business improvement roles. You will be the custodian of the framework ensuring it remains relevant and is used across all Morrisons functions.
Your key stakeholders will be the training team, productivity work stream owners/reps, business improvement colleagues in Retail, Manufacturing, Logistics, the People team and the Finance team.
What you will be doing in this role:
Customer
-Deliver productivity improvements and remove waste that delivers positive impacts for customers through training and coaching all head office teams
-Produce timely, effective and be main contact for communications of framework changes to all stakeholders, particularly other Business Improvement colleagues and the Training team
Colleague
-To develop a way of working that enables our people to continuously look for ways to improve our business
-Lead the development plan for ensuring colleagues have the skills to be able to constantly deliver improvement in line with the framework
-Build strong relationships and engagement with functional reps and the Leadership Team to identify solutions and coach for each module
-Coach cross functional project teams and working groups as necessary to alignment of objectives and end to end benefit delivery
Operational
-Update progress tracking reports and communicate progress to senior stakeholders on the delivery of training and any initiatives
-Monitor, identify and action issues / risks to training delivery and ways of working changes to resolve or escalate as appropriate
-Support operational set up of tools to change ways of working across all Hilmore functions
