HR Advisor - Flexible Hours (Part-Time) in Manufacturing

Job description

HR Advisor£35,000 to £40,000 (pro‐rate) per annum, 22.5 to 30 hours per week Monday to Thursday, BS34 Patchway, Bristol, Permanent.

An exciting opportunity to join a global, market‐leading engineering manufacturing organisation. Supported daily by a HR Manager, you will work within a small team of two supporting a site of 50 employees within a visible HR function.

Responsibilities

General HR administration including holidays, sickness, policies & coordination of training & development; maintaining HR records both manual and electronic.

Managing the recruitment process from end to end: talent attraction, liaising with agencies, pre‐screening candidates, new starter inductions, and assisting with the issuance of employment contracts.

Assisting with the implementation of HR policies in line with group policies.

Composing job descriptions for new and existing roles.

Providing first‐level advice on HR policies, procedures and employee relations (grievances & disciplinaries).

Supporting the performance review process and performance improvement plans.

Assisting with compliance and governance – GDPR, UK regulations and general compliance with group policies.

Maintaining HR records both physical and electronic.

Assisting with Health & Safety administration.

Performing any other duties as required by the business.

Qualifications

Hold a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

Be a confident IT user with HR systems experience using an HRIS package.

Hold manufacturing or engineering industry experience.

Have the ability to communicate effectively and be people‐focused.

Have good working knowledge of employment law and experience assisting in employee relations situations.
