HGV Class 1 Drivers SK15

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established transport and logistics business based in the SK15 area. We are looking for x5 HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the team with immediate starts available from Monday.

Location: SK15

Job Type: 4 Month Contract / Ongoing Opportunities Available / Temp to Perm Potential

Pay Rates:

£17.88 per hour (PAYE)
£20.04 per hour (including rolled up holiday pay)

Shift Patterns & Start Times:

Monday to Friday
Weekend work available for drivers wanting additional shifts
Start times between 04:00 07:00
Average 1011 hour shifts
Day shifts available
Night shifts available
Tramping available

The Role:

Multi-drop deliveries and collections
Palletforce work
Customer collections
General haulage duties
Drivers must be flexible to complete Class 2 work when required
May involve driving 4 wheel vehicles where required
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles
Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
Working as part of a busy and fast-paced transport operation

Requirements:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
Drivers must be flexible to drive Class 2 vehicles when required
New passes are welcome to apply
New pass drivers will be buddied up for their first week
Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
Valid CPC and Digi Card
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work
