What are you going to do:
The Swim Coach is responsible for the planning, preparation and delivery of our Swim Kings programme. This programme runs in the morning and includes a prescribed range of coaching, games and themed activities for children aged 5-11 years. On larger camps, Swim Coaches will lead and motivate Assistant Coaches, ensuring the highest levels of care, coaching, organisation and health and safety are delivered. You’ll also need to prepare equipment daily and be motivated to coordinate and deliver a high energy, fun and inclusive programme that engages all children.

What we ask:
- No minimum education required
- A full STA Level 2 Swimming Teachers Certificate or ASA Level 2 Certificate for teaching swimming (previously ASA Full Teachers).
- A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) OR National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers/Coaches (NRASTC)
- Experience of coaching/teaching swimming with groups of children aged 4-17
- Confidence in leading other staff members to support swimming
- A detailed understanding of, and commitment to, safeguarding in the swimming pool environment
- A vibrant, fun and confident personality
- A team player with a willingness to adapt
- Model best coaching and programme practice

Extra information
We’re looking for your availability between 09.00-16.00 daily. The rate of pay £13.25 per hour.
Dates and Location
- Over 50 locations in England, Scotland and Wales
- Our camps take place during the school holidays in Easter and Summer– we expect your commitment to a minimum of 3 programme weeks but dependent upon the length of a season.
- Can’t commit to a full 3 weeks? We have opportunities for Bank Multi Sports Coaches also.
