What are you going to do:

Thamesmead Town Football Academy are offering a BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport (2-year course). This course is for post 16 year old's who are keen to gain qualifications, that will help them either go onto higher education, or start a career within the industry!

The course will contain a mixture of classroom teaching, independent study, football training and match days.

Facilities: Full-Size Astroturf Grass Pitches Fully Functional Changing Rooms/Showers Gymnasium

Syllabus

•  6 - 10 hours a week (including match) structured football coaching by Uefa qualified coaches
•  Compete in the VLUK NSDL League ( National Scholarship Development League) with a role on, role off policy for player development and game understanding.
• The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football Award (this includes the FA Safeguarding Children Workshop and the FA level 1 intro into First Aid in Football qualifications.....all must be completed to gain the FA Level 1 qualification and they are done in a workshop format)
• Opposition Scouting Certificate (incorporating 2 practice reports)
•  Food Available on-site at a reduced fee
• Will provide a Chromebook 15 for education purposes, use on-site only
