Guest Experience Host (Freelance) in London

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Freelance Hosting Team for regular work welcoming guests from all over the world into our properties. If you're bright, have a passion for great customer service and an interest in delivering an outstanding hospitality experience, we want to hear from you! 16 - 20 hours per week
Between £20.00 and £75.00 Per Hour

What are you going to do:

  • You'll be the first point of contact for each guest from the moment they arrive in the city.
  • You'll meet and greet them at the door, show them round the property and ensure they feel completely at home before handing over the keys.
  • You'll be meeting and hosting different people from different cultures every day.
  • You'll need to know London like the back of your hand and be able to get about town quickly and reliably.
  • You need to expect the unexpected! Whether it's a delayed flight or a last minute change of plan, you need to remain cool and problem solve as appropriate, always putting the guest's needs first.
  • You're passionate about hospitality and take often working evenings and weekends in your stride.
  • You are a front-line ambassador and the face of Lavanda!

What we ask:

  • At least finished college A levels
  • You love Airbnb, and are probably a guest or host yourself. You draw upon personal experience as well as recognised best practices to inform your own unique style.
  • You have a warm, kind and confident personality and are driven to create a positive and lasting impression with every interaction.
  • You are patient, understanding and can manage yourself perfectly under pressure – hiding any internal stress from your guests.
  • Impeccable time management. The late arrival of guests is acceptable but guests arriving to a locked door is not.
  • You have high personal standards and take pride in your appearance. You're always clean, tidy and well presented.
  • Great English, both written and spoken. Additional languages prized!
