Residential Solar Sales Manager



My client are looking for a driven, confident and customer-focused Residential Solar Sales candidate to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated sales professional to help homeowners reduce their energy costs while supporting the transition to cleaner, greener living


The role


You will be responsible for converting inbound enquiries and qualified appointments into residential solar sales. You’ll guide customers through the full sales process, explain the benefits of solar clearly and credibly, and work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.


Key responsibilities


  • Convert inbound enquiries and pre-qualified appointments into sales.
  • Conduct home visits, phone calls, and virtual consultations with prospective customers.
  • Assess customer needs and design tailored solar solutions.
  • Present the financial and environmental benefits of solar clearly and confidently.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from appointment to close.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with homeowners.
  • Work closely with survey, operations, and installation teams to ensure a seamless handover.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and pipeline in CRM systems.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay up to date with solar products, market trends, and government incentives.

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in residential solar, home improvement, or a similar consultative sales environment.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills.
  • Target-driven, self-motivated, and resilient.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own diary.
