Harry Potter Shop King’s Cross is the official London destination for best-in-class Wizarding World merchandise.
At just over 2000sqft, the small footprint of Harry Potter Shop King’s Cross plays a massive part in the success of the Worldwide Tours & Retail business. Sitting alongside world-class attractions and retail experiences including Warner Bros Studio Tour London, Warner Bros Studio Tour Tokyo, and Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, Harry Potter Shop King’s Cross boasts unparalleled brand knowledge and authenticity that immerses our customers in the magic of Harry Potter.
Situated at Platform 9 ¾, King’s Cross Station, our team delivers extraordinary customer service and self-developed product as unique as our location. Through a focus on combining a magical experience with retail excellence, our ultimate goal is to ensure each customer leaves with the perfect souvenir or gift, and a lasting memory.
2. Job Responsibilities
Act as One Team
Help exceed customer expectations by understanding and demonstrating exceptional service on the sales floor and till points.
Displaying good listening skills, identifying customer needs and responding to them quickly.
· Working collaboratively with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the customer experience.

Continuously develop your product and brand knowledge.
Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and housekeeping.
· Embrace new technology, processes and efficiencies that streamline the customer experience.
Empower Storytelling
Confidence to engage with large groups of customers at a time at our photo opportunity and communicate in an enthusiastic and entertaining manner.
· Share the Harry Potter story with passion and purpose, linking our products to the narrative and upselling where appropriate.
· Use storytelling to elevate the customer experience, paint a picture of how a product can be used or gifted, turning a transaction into a meaningful interaction.

3. Skills & Knowledge Required
Previous retail experience or experience working with the public (if a school leaver, work experience is desirable)
Selling skills - proactively seeks out opportunities to increase sales.
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with the public.
Ability to use own initiative.
Enthusiasm and passion for, as well as excellent knowledge of, the Harry Potter brand.
4. Terms & Conditions
Contracts are 40 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of this working pattern. Weekend work includes both Saturday and Sunday. Your normal hours of work are between 7am and 10:30pm.
This role includes working on tills, interacting with customers, replenishing our shelves, and working at the photo opportunity on the station concourse. Retail Assistants will need to work across all these functions at different times.
