We have the opportunity for a new vacancy of Procurement Intern to join the European Corporate Procurement team.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Central Procurement team who will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and on-boarding of suppliers into ARIBA, our procurement and supplier management platform. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in procurement operations, supplier management, and digital tools in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supplier On-boarding
o Assist with supplier data collection, validation, and entry into ARIBA.
o Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely submission of required documentation.
o Monitor the progress of on-boarding and follow up to address delays or issues.
• ARIBA Implementation Support
o Provide administrative support during ARIBA supplier implementation.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions to the ARIBA platform.
o Identify and resolve discrepancies in supplier profiles and information.
• Data Management and Reporting
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records.
o Generate reports to track on-boarding progress and highlight areas for improvement.
• Communication and Coordination
o Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding ARIBA-related queries.
o Support the Procurement team in coordinating training sessions or informational meetings with suppliers.
• Process Improvement
o Assist in identifying inefficiencies in the on-boarding process and propose solutions.
o Support team initiatives to optimize the supplier implementation process.
The successful applicant will currently pursue or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Also s/he should be able to demonstrate the following:
Education, work experience, skills and competencies required:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred experience:
Familiarity with ARIBA or similar procurement platforms is a plus.
Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative roles is advantageous.
