Flight Operations Auditor (non Pilot role) in Manchester

Role: Flight Ops Auditor (Non Pilot Role)

Location: Manchester based - Travel Required

Working Hours: 37.5 hours

Job Purpose: To perform audit functions of flight ops and flight ops service providers. To improve the operational effectiveness and ensure compliance with company policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ground and ‘desk top’ audits
  •  Perform flight audits (including cabin safety audits)
  •  Participate in the planning and execution of Line Orientated Safety Audits as part of individual or group strategic plan
  •  Assist, as required, with management of flight operations related Q-Pulse activities
  •  Provide assistance to flight operations in addressing SAFA reports, including mitigation plans

Key Performance Indicators

  • SAFA score (in area of responsibility) within company target
  •  Departmental compliance and effectivity ratings within company target.
  •  Audits completed according to agreed schedule

 

 

Capabilities Profile – technical skills/knowledge, experience & track record.

Must have:

  • Previous experience in flight operations department or related activity
  •  Analytically strong, with ability to operate completely objectively

Preferred:

  • Previous experience as pilot or cabin crew
  •  Previous auditing experience

Qualifications, Training, Professional Memberships or Accreditations

  • Preferably formal auditing qualification
